Huambo – The minister of State for Social Area Carolina Cerqueira inaugurated Saturday the new city of Caala municipality in the central Huambo province.
With 4,001 units, the new satellite city, began to receive the first tenants on Saturday.
The city is named after the former governor of Huambo, Fernando Faustino Muteka, in honour of the nationalist and former governor of that province.
The new housing project has the capacity to accommodate 28,000 residents in 4001 T3-type homes, in addition to the other infrastructure.
