Luanda - Employers with public, private and mixed companies have been ordered to suspend work activity in the afternoons of 24th and 31st December, ahead of Christmas and New Year’s eve.
The Ministry of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security (Maptss) recalled that the decision is based on the legislation in force.
In its document reached Angop and signed by the incumbent minister, Teresa Rodrigues Dias, the institution quotes the paragraph 2 of article 7 of Law 10/11, of 16 February, which approves the Law on National Holidays and Places as well as National Celebration and Dates.
