Luanda - The MiEmployment fund presented in central Angolanistry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS) presented on Thursday in the city of Huambo the Angolan National Employment Fund (FUNEA), which contributes to reducing unemployment in the country.
The inauguration ceremony was led by the Minister of MAPTSS, Teresa Dias, for whom the fund is taking its first steps in the area of employability and vocational training, through initiatives such as cooperatives to generate direct employment and local economic development.
Teresa Dias highlighted the support for entrepreneurship through the provision of micro-credits and work kits, adding that the government is committed to employability and vocational training.
The Angolan National Employment Fund (FUNEA) was institutionalized by presidential decree.
Its agenda, approved by presidential decree, is an important instrument for coordinating actions to promote employability, with the aim of increasing the participation of citizens in the national labor market through active employment policies. LIN/OHA/DAN/AMP
