Luanda – Over 330,000 Luanda Province dwellers will have access to potable water, following the rehabilitation of the supply station based in Morro Bento zone, provincial governor Manuel Homem announced on Friday.
The rehabilitation works are scheduled to end this year in December and will benefit about 42,000 families.
Manuel Homem was speaking on the fringes of a field visit to the area, aimed at checking the level of execution of the said public works, which began in September 2023.
On the occasion, the governor explained that he is aware of the exisiting constraints in the mentioned area due to the ongoing works, which includes road traffic problems.
On his turn, the C.E.O of the public Luanda Water Company (EPAL), Adão da Silva, informed that the project is just about to start the trials stage.
