Luanda - Luanda province has seen a tranquil Christmas holiday on Friday, characterised by smooth traffic flow in the city’s main sections and with an heavy police presence.
Contrary to the previous years, this time the residents opted to stay indoors due to COVID-19, in compliance with the health rules.
Luanda province used to see groups of families strolling around the city or visiting other relatives in this period of the year.
Several places have reported a heavy presence of police officers and firefighters, to ensure safety, in the light of the Presidential Decree on the Situation of Public Disaster.
