According to the Luacano municipal administrator, João Paulo Atanasse, the narrative and demonstration aims to attract the curiosity of several citizens that wish to know this lake of national reference and is considered to be the largest in the African continent with “fascinating” stories and mythologies.
In addition to Lake Dilolo, the Sacapinge waterfalls, which is another postcard of the municipality, would be illustrated with the aim of attracting national and international tourists to that region of the country.
As for the municipality of Luau, according to its administrator, Ester Vumbi Celestino, it will bring and share its experience in basic sanitation care at the event, as well as its “stunning architectural beauty,” which is different from other municipal cities built in the colonial era.
“We intend to win the award in the basic sanitation categories”, said the manager of Luau, which is 337 kilometers east of the city of Luena, capital of Moxico.
According to the deputy administrator for the economic sector, Baptista Inácio will display the cultural identity of the region as well as the investment that they have made to improve mobility, leisure and touristic places and the big peace monument, considered one of the country's greatest tourist symbols.
