Luena - A 33-year-old young man was arrested by the National Police, in the province of Moxico, accused of trying to sexually abuse his 36-year-old sister-in-law, ANGOP learned today.
The incident occurred in the municipality of Camanongue, which is 52 kilometers from the city of Luena (capital of the province), after the accused allegedly invited the victim to consume alcoholic drinks in a commercial establishment.
Once in the establishment, there were no more drinks, he was immediately diverted to a deserted place, where he tried to complete the act, due to the cry for help, he was frustrated by the people”, reads a note on the security situation of the National Police.
The accused will be presented to the Public Prosecutor's Office to follow the legal procedures.
With an estimated population of 46,151 inhabitants, distributed across four (4) districts, the municipality of Camanongue is limited to the south by the municipality of Léua, to the north by the municipality of Dala (Lunda-Sul), to the west by the municipality of Moxico and East with Cameia, having an area of 2 783 km2.
