Huambo - At least 60,000 ex-military personnel, demobilised in the light of the peace agreements in Angola, will be reintegrated by 2022, according to the consultant of the Secretary of State for Social Action, André Zinga Nkula.
The person in charge provided this information to the press, at the end of a meeting between the governor of Huambo province, Lotti Nolika, and the Secretary of State for Social Action, Lúcio Gonçalves do Amaral.
André Zinga Nkula said that the social reintegration of this remnant by the end of 2022 is one of the great challenges.
Accordingly, he said that the meeting with governor Lotti Nolika aimed at discussing the preparations for the official ceremony to hand over tractors to agricultural cooperatives made up of ex-military, scheduled for next Tuesday.
He said that in a first stage, the province of Huambo will be contemplated with nine tractors, in the scope of the promise made by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, during the speech on the State of the Nation, in the National Assembly, on October 15th of this year.
