Conda - The Integrated Programme for Local Development and Combating Poverty (PIDLCP) this year allocated 295.6 million Kwanzas to the Conda Municipal Administration, coastal Cuanza Sul province for the execution of 45 social projects.
The projects are related to the construction and rehabilitation of rural infrastructures estimated at 72.8 million Kwanzas, social infrastructures at 5 million Kwanzas and promotion of agriculture, livestock and fishing at 43.6 million Kwanzas.
The programme to combat poverty in the Conda has made available 14.6 million Kwanzas for the promotion of cultural and sporting activities and the promotion of tourism, 35.1 million Kwanzas for the promotion of gender and women empowerment.
At least 8.7 million Kwanzas for administrative costs, 14.6 million Kwanzas for actions to support citizenship, 32.5 million Kwanzas to extend the water and sanitation network and 31.7 million Kwanzas for primary health care.
The Conda municipal administrator, Adão Pereira, said that the administration receives 300 million kwanzas per year, however for this year only 295.6 million Kwanzas are available.
