Cacolo - The governor of Lunda Sul province, Daniel Neto, Monday called for greater speed on the company responsible for carrying out the rehabilitation works of the road linking the municipality of Cacolo (headquarters) and the commune of Alto-Chicapa.
The work, which will last 12 months and is part of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), began in May 2020 and is in charge of the ADISANDRA company.
The 90 million Kwanzas infrastructure includes the rehabilitation of two bridges in the same section, which is 107 kilometres long.
The governor made this appeal at the end of a visit to the municipality, saying that there was an urgent need to conclude the work, within the established deadlines, taking into account that it would improve the living quality of the population and the flow of products from the countryside to the city.
He said that there are no reasons for the delay of the works, since the financial execution is around 80 percent and that it is creating constraints, not only for the population, but also for the provincial government.
"I don't understand how the financial execution is above the physical execution, something is wrong and needs to be corrected urgently," he questioned.
