Caxito - Bengo provincial governor, Maria Nelumba, on Thursday recommended municipal administrations to include master plans in the proposals for the General State Budget (OGE) 2025, with a view to boosting social and economic development in the region.
Speaking to the press, at the end of a consultation meeting with associations of natives and friends of the province of Bengo, the government official highlighted the inclusion of master plans in the OGE, allowing the occupation of spaces destined for agriculture, industry, housing, among other social and economic equipment.
On the other hand, she said that the meeting with the associations also served to establish priorities for the participatory budget and finding mechanisms aiming to boost the contribution of mining companies to the development of municipalities, within the scope of their social responsibilities.
“We promote this meeting because we understand that the resolution of issues of an economic and social nature, vandalization of public assets, early pregnancy and conservation of biodiversity requires the involvement of all forces”.
The scarcity of drinking water, electricity, schools, health clinics, credit, land concession titles, security, transport, centered the meeting that brought together more than 20 associations of friends and natives of the province of Bengo. FS/PA/MRA/DOJ
