Luanda - The provincial governor of Luanda, Ana Paula de Carvalho, today (Wednesday) inaugurated an eight-kilometre road linking the Vila da Funda to Mayé Mayé, in Cacuaco municipality.
The road, built in seven months as part of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), has two lanes, vertical and horizontal signals and links the Funda agricultural production area to the Mayé Mayé housing project.
At the time, the municipal administrator of Cacuaco, Auxílio Jacob, said that there was a lot of trouble in the circulation at these two points, since Sequele has the biggest population of the municipality.
He explained that it was very difficult for residents of Cacuaco to travel to Funda, and for this reason the administration thought it important to connect the points so that people could have greater mobility.
