Sumbe - The provincial governor of Cuanza Sul, Job Capapinha, urged this Friday municipal administrators to be relentless in monitoring social works in progress, in order for contractors to meet the established deadlines, Angop learned.
He cited as an example the need to conclude the repair of 20 kilometres of roads in Porto Amboim, the re-launch of work on around 30 kilometres of Luhaty/Libolo road, of the water and power system in Seles municipality, work that is part of the PIIM.
Despite having already been awarded, some of these works have not actually started due to the technical incapacity of the contractors, and therefore the maintenance of these contracts is at risk.
The governor made this statement during the opening of the meeting of the 5th Ordinary Session of the Government, which was attended by deputy governors, advisors, office directors and administrators of the 12 municipalities of Cuanza Sul.
