Luena - The effectiveness and speed with which the Angola Press Agency (ANGOP) publishes the news facts inside and outside the country were recognized on Monday in Luena city, by the provincial governor of the eastern Moxico, Gonçalves Muandumba.
The governor stressed that Angop is an agency that, despite the difficulties, has fulfilled its mission to provide public media service.
Gonçalves Muandumba made the statement at the presentation of the new delegate of this agency in the province, Yambeno Daniel Jamba, mentioning that it has done a useful, dynamic and fast work in the multimedia to bring the information to the readers of the world, particularly to Angolans.
On the occasion, the non-executive director of Angop Gaspar Francisco, who represented the Angop’s CEO, Josué Isaías, made the presentation of the delegate, and requested the governor to continue to provide support to the entire institutional.
Yambeno Daniel replaces David José, who held the position from 1997 to 2020, and becomes the sixth delegate of Angop in the province, after José Xavier (1984/1986) already deceased, Miguel Fernando (1986/1989), João Pitra (1989/1992) and Boas Chissola (1982/1997) also deceased.
