Uíge - The governor of the northern Uíge province, José Carvalho da Rocha, sees 2025 as a challenging year of hard work for the local government, given the development challenges facing the region.
Among these challenges are the completion of the new Uíge General Hospital, a new soccer stadium, the expansion of the electricity grid, schools, and other social infrastructures in progress in the region.
Speaking to the press about the prospects for the new year, Carvalho da Rocha looked forward to a year of hard work and achievements to continue the development of the region.
