To this end, he said he has the support of the Lobito Municipal Administration, with regard to logistics and transport for members.
“We also have the support of the Luanda Provincial Carnival Association (APROCAL), organizational terms, with the aim of boosting the Lobito carnival”, he revealed.
He explained that the ACL's main objective for 2025 is to do better than what was done in the last five years.
“We will fight to rescue the mystique of the colonial era, where the Lobito carnival was known in various latitudes around the world”, he stated.
To Domingos Brito, the ACL is focused on providing happiness to people, making them actively participate.

Cultural and sporting movement
The Union of Artists and Composers (UNAC) will take advantage of the city's festivities, under the motto: "Lobito, September is ours", to implement the National Festival of Culture and Arts.
According to its municipal representative, Francisco Rui Martins, in this festival, the disciplines of Music, Theater and Dance will play a prominent role and, regardless of the members, the institution will make an exception for those who are not yet registered, in order to have greater coverage .
“There will be two days of exhibition where each artist will have the opportunity to show their potential and perhaps open doors for drawing up contracts”, he stated.
The festival programme includes sporting activities, such as football, futsal, volleyball, as well as crossing the bay, considered, over the years, to be the most attractive festival in the city.
Social activities, such as blood donation, support for the Home for the Elderly, book garden fair and donation of kits to fight poverty, are also part of the 111 years of the city, also known as the railway port city of Lobito.
The municipality of Lobito has a geographical extension of 2,100 square kilometers and has two communes, namely Canjala and Egipto Praia.
