Luanda - The Angolan government has said it is working to guarantee a better educated and informed society, within the framework of its National Plan for Institutional Communication, 2024 - 2027, the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media, Mário Oliveira, said Tuesday in Luanda.
Speaking at the opening of the sector's Methodological Seminar, the minister said the program is the main policy instrument for the systematized, inclusive, structured, planned and continuous exercise of the government’s institutional communication action.
According to the government official, the plan will allow every citizen to make a better contribution to the national cause.
“Although quite challenging, we have no doubt that the government’s goals in terms of communication will be achieved, which are essential to secure the regular implementation of public policies, initiatives and programs developed by the Angolan state for social progress,” the minister said.
The seminar running the motto “Clarify more, communicate better”, is addressing topics related to “The Executive's National Institutional Communication Plan 2023 - 2027”, “Digital Communication”, “Internet and Crisis Management”, “Artificial Intelligence vs Institutional Communication”, among others.AB/MCN/TED/AMP
