Lubango – The Archbishop of Lubango, Dom Gabriel Mbilingi, appealed this Friday to Angolan families to revisit the practices of benevolence and solidarity, so that they can live the festive season in harmony, avoiding disagreements at all costs.
Speaking to ANGOP, the prelate considered that at this time when the birth of Jesus is celebrated and the new year is prospering, it is essential for families to be increasingly united and reconciled.
He added that it is essential to do good and demonstrate in practice and in spirit, the gesture of solidarity, not only with those who need it most, but with the entire society.
He highlighted the importance for each citizen to respect others as themselves, based on virtues and moderation, with a view to maintaining social and spiritual peace.
According to the cleric, this is the moment that the country needs to forget the past and rebuild the future with optimism, which requires energy and strength, without causing more pain.
