Luanda – Angola’s Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) has detained three Angolans, for the alleged involvement in the aggression and death of a 60-year-old Chinese citizen, GU Tung Chong, who was a stock manager of a used clothing warehouse.
These are citizens Josemar João António Delengue (Bili DJI), 23-year-old single, Tiago Manuel Vercaba (Tiame or Santiago), 27-year-old single, and Lopes Ambrósio Tiangala (Molleza), 23-year-old single.
The information was provided today (Monday), in Luanda, by SIC spokesman Manuel Halaiwa, for whom those involved in the crime, occurred at 'China Town', last Wednesday, are being heard, in order to apply the coercion measures corresponding to the acts.
According to the officer, the detention was the result of a tasted work of research services, using the video-vigilance images that circulated on social networks.
Manuel Halaiwa said that preliminary data show that homicide resulted from mechanical asphyxiation and administration of an unidentified substance.
'The corpse was removed to Morgue from Josina Machel Hospital, for the purpose of judicial necropce,' he explained.
After the murder, the alleged workers took with them 70,000 US dollars and three million kwanzas from the safe box in the warehouse.
The crime happened on Wednesday when the Chinese national was in the warehouse of burdens that is in the Nave 3, block 9, at China Town, in Luanda.
The spokesman has called for citizens, both national and foreigners, to avoid storing large sums of money in commercial establishments or residences.
