Ndalatando - The governor of the province of Cuanza Norte, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, Tuesday called on young people to devote themselves to vocational training and to contribute to the maintenance of social peace.
Adriano Mendes de Carvalho called on the young people to collaborate and advised them to be the first to respect the people and institutions of the state.
Speaking at a meeting with the youth in the province, he advised them to engage more in the work to achieve their goals.
During the meeting, concerns were presented to the governor regarding lack of employment, housing, financing for entrepreneurship, technical-vocational and academic training.
The president of the Provincial Youth Council (CPJ), Anselmo Taveira José, asked the government to be closer, more proactive and to join efforts to solve the problems that affect them.
He mentioned that the National Youth Forum, held in 2016, made a set of recommendations, whose implementation would provide more space for youth to participate in the social and economic development of the country and consequently improve the due quality.
