Mbanza Kongo - At least eleven nationals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were expelled on Sunday by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) in the province of Zaire for illegal entry and stay in the national territory.
The repatriation of these illegal immigrants took place at the Luvo land border crossings (Mbanza Kongo) and river Kimbumba in the municipality of Soyo.
According to a note from the institution to which ANGOP had access, this Monday one was repatriated by judicial decision and ten by administrative acts.
The expulsion of these citizens, the note further states, is part of the bilateral agreements existing between Angola and the DRC.
