Talatona - The provincial commander of the Civil Protection and Fire Service (SPCB), commissioner Hermínio Cazucuto, on Sunday, in Luanda urged the staff to follow military ethics, discipline and organization, during and after the festive season.
Speaking to ANGOP, at the end of the general training of control and guidelines to be followed before, during and after the end of year running race (São Silvestre) and the New Year, he said that the strategy of the SPCB forces, with the 3,000 personnel of the delegation of Luanda, it's ready.
To do this, the official ensured that they are aware regarding all the measures and means to be used, taking into account the need for greater protection of the population.
He also said that firefighters will carry out specific activities, through inspections of party rooms, strengthening surveillance on beaches, raising awareness of proximity, among others.
Before commission officers, superiors, subordinates, deputy chiefs and agents, in general, Hermínio Cazucuto recalled that “the country does not beg its children, it orders”.
“That's why we are all called to ensure the end of the year, and we must implement the slogan - zero drowning-, paying special attention to the Seafront”, he said.
In effect, he asked the staff, at all levels, to redouble their efforts to avoid possible accidents”.
To him, discipline, organization and military ethics must be guided, as they are fundamental elements for achieving the recommended results, especially during this period of the festive and prevention season, which will culminate on January 5, 2025”. VS/SC/MRA/DOJ
