Cuito - The city of Cuito, capital of the province of Bié, is deprived of the normal supply of electricity from the public grid in the period between six and 14 hours on Saturday, due to maintenance work, a situation that will be repeated on Sunday at the same time.
According to a statement from the National Energy Distribution Company (ENDE-EP), to which Angop had access, maintenance is being carried out at the Caluapanda electricity substation, by the National Transport Network (R.N.T-EP), on the outskirts of the city of Cuito.
ENDE-EP appeals to its customers for maximum understanding of any inconvenience resulting from this operation.
In the province of Bié, ENDE has 26,014 customers, 16% of whom have the metering system, and 2,666 of whom are prepaid.
