Cabinda - A two-year-old child has died and 195 homes have been flooded as a result of the rains that have poured on Cabinda in recent days, the deputy provincial commander of the Civil Protection and Fire Service in Cabinda, José Natal has said.
The downpours have also caused two medium-sized ravines to open in the Cabassango/Zongolo and Chimindele threatening to cut off road traffic between these towns.
José Natal has said the Luvassa sul, Chiweca, Ngoma, Tafe and Povo Grande neighborhoods are the most affected by the rains, which also caused flooding to the national radio and the Tafe football stadium. ING/JFC/JL /DAN/AMP
