Luena - The Commission for Justice and Peace of the Bishops' Conference of Angola and Sao Tome (CEAST) this Friday in Luena, Moxico province, reiterated the need to promote the value of dialogue in the country, as a fundamental pillar for the development of Angola.
This position was stated by the secretary of this CEAST commission, Father Celestino Epalanga, during the opening of a regional conference on "the challenges of building the Angolan nation: past, present and future".
At the occasion, the priest said that the construction of a fair and fraternal society should be done according to the inclusion of all social groups and organisations in the country.
For the priest, it is necessary to promote debates to build a new country, able to preserve the national identity and break with the political, social and economic obstacles to achieve an integrated development.
At a time when the country is preparing for the holding of its fifth general elections, the official appealed to the need for institutions to conduct the process in a way that guarantees smoothness and transparency.
