Ndalatando – At least two people died and 44 were injured following a collision between two buses that occurred Thursday in Zenza do Itombe, Cuanza-Norte province, ANGOP has learned from a police source.
The victims were admitted to the Cambambe municipal hospital, where both died.
Of the injured, three in a more critical condition, two of them workers from the Omatapalo construction company, were transferred to Luanda and another to the Agostinho Neto provincial hospital in Ndalatando.
Other people with minor injuries were discharged after receiving medical assistance.
The accident involved a bus belonging to the private interprovincial transport company Angoreal, coming from Huambo to Luanda, and another belonging to Omatapalo, which was leaving its shipyard for Caculo Cabaça. IMA/YD/AMP
