Uíge - At least five people who were admitted to the Uíge General Hospital on Tuesday, victims of a tree that fell on a Toyota Hiace , are recovering "satisfactorily" and may be discharged in the next few days, the hospital's director, Amândio Duca, told ANGOP on Friday.
According to the hospital official, the patients are already out of danger and may be discharged next week.
The accident, which caused three deaths, happened on the National Highway 225, on the road that connects the municipality of Dange-Quitexe to the city of Uige.
As regards to the patient who needed more care due to a fracture of the left upper limb, the official explained that he had undergone a successful operation and that the patient was already recovering and out of danger. JAR/AMP
