Lobito – Angolan minister of Health Sílvia Lutucuta delivered Tuesday in Lobito, coastal Benguela province, medicines and rapid tests to ensure the diagnosis and treatment of malaria and other sickness, ANGOP has learnt.
Benefitted from medicines Pediatric hospitals of Lobito, Dom Óscar Braga Hospital and São Pedro hospital in Catumbela.
“We brought part of the medicines in two containers and by plane”, said the minister, who announced plans to bring another batch for other diseases.
Sílvia Lutucuta also announced the creation of conditions to set up some satellite pediatric services.
Benguela has a population estimated at 2.4 million habitants, distributed to 10 municipalities.
