Moxico – At least 460,516 people, including teenagers and adults, have already been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Moxico, the head of the provincial department of Public Health, Henriques Caiombo, reported this Friday in Luena.
Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that, in terms of teenagers (12 to 17 years old), 91,673 young people with three dose were vaccinated.
In general terms, according to Henriques Caiombo, the municipality of Moxico leads the list of people who have taken the vaccine, with an accumulated 234,575 doses administered, out of a total of 250,384 citizens foreseen in that district.
The list with the highest vaccination coverage is followed by the municipality of Luau, with 74,261 doses administered, and that of Bundas, with a total of 34,868 people vaccinated.
Currently, Moxico has a stock of vaccines sufficient to respond to population demand, in addition to carrying out 160 daily rapid tests of the pandemic.
Henriques Caiombo informed that the province has not registered any new positive case for three weeks.
