Lubango – At least 25 from the total of 31 projects of the health projects included in the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM) have been completed in central Huía province representing 85.60 % execution, the local director of the Studies, Planning and Statistics (GEPE), Rosa Luanda told ANGOP Tuesday.
According to the official, the projects also include the purchase of hospital equipment.
The works completed cover five hospitals in the municipalities of Chipindo, Jamba, Cacula, Humpata and Chicomba, 10 health centres in Quipungo, Humpata, Chibia, Matala and Jamba, as well as four in Lubango municipality, whose contracts are of 2020-2024 period.
Rosa Luanda adeed that seven health centres in the municipalities of Cuvango, Matala and Jamba and two in Caconda have been handed over, underlining that the province has 226 projects registered in the PIIM, of which four are central and 222 local, and that there has been an increase in the project portfolio as part of the reallocation.
Huíla has a financial execution of more than 50 billion kwanzas and 98% of the projects in the portfolio completed.
