Uíge – A total of 1,256 different cases were received at the Uíge General Hospital (HGU), during the transition to the New Year.
Of this number, 793 were seen in external consultations, and 463 in emergency rooms.
Among the cases, 12 physical attacks and 30 road accidents (18 involving motorbikes and 12 involving cars), one firearm shot, 57 injuries and 2 burns stand out.
Speaking to ANGOP, the HGU's supervisor on duty, João Alfredo, explained that the hospital unit treated 461 patients with malaria issues.
Without specifying the number of cases treated in the previous period, João Alfredo, informed that the hospital did not register a busy movement.
