Menongue - The maternity hospital of Cuando Cubango has already reopened its care services, after being closed for 10 days, as it registered 21 positive cases of Covid-19 among patients, employees and users.
The confirmation was made by the head of the primary care section of the department of public health and control of endemic diseases in Cuando Cubango, Daniel Nazaré, having advanced that the maternity unit returned to normal care after the disinfestation work carried out.
He said that the infected employees are already recovered and ensured the reinforcement of biosecurity measures in this unit, such as temperature, social distancing, hand washing, among others.
At this time, Cuando Cubango has an overall of 1,091 positive cases, with 999 recovered, 47 active and 45 deaths.
