Dundo - At least 7,296 professionals from Health, Education, Media, National Police officers, Angolan Armed Forces and elderly people in Lunda Norte have already got the first dose of vaccine against Covid-19 since the vaccination campaign started in April.
Speaking to the press, the spokeswoman for the Multi-Sectoral Pandemic Response Commission, Filomena Simão, said that the campaign, which is still underway, was being carried out in the municipalities of Chitato and Cuango.
By Saturday it is expected that the target of vaccinating 11,340 citizens will be reached.
She said that logistic and human conditions are being created to start this month the administering of the second dose to the referred citizens, as well as to expand the campaign to other municipalities.
