Luanda – Positive Covid-19 cases increased in the last 24 hours to 17,099, Angola health authorities have said.
The figure was announced during the covid-19 update session on Friday, stating that active cases amounted to 6,782.
They also announced 9,921 recoveries and 396 deaths, as being recorded between March and December, 2020.
Three patients are in critical condition, four serious, 78 moderated, 107 mild and 6,590 asymptomatic.
Still, in the last 24 hours, the country recorded 70 new cases, three recoveries and one death.
Of the new infections reported in that period, 30 are from Moxico province, Luanda (14), Lunda Norte (13), Bié (6), Cabinda (4), Huíla (2) and Úige (1), with ages ranging from 1 to 71 years old (39 men e 31 women).
