Luanda - The Angolan health authorities announced, on Thursday, the registration of another 289 new infections, three deaths and 84 recovered patients.
According to the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, who spoke at the usual data update session, there are 233 patients in Luanda Provincer, 22 in Benguela, 17 in Cuanza Norte, 6 in Cabinda, 5 in Cuanza Sul, 5 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Namibe.
The list, said the official, includes 179 male patients and 110 female patients, whose ages range from 4 months old to 81 years.
On the three deaths, he said, two were registered in Zaire, and one in Luanda.
Regarding the recoveries, 59 were registered in Luanda, eighteen in Huíla and seven in Malanje.
Angola has 12,102 positive cases, with 299 deaths, 5,350 recovered patients and 6,453 active cases.
Of the diseased, 12 are in critical condition with invasive mechanical ventilation, 24 severe, 160 moderate, 358 with mild symptoms and 5,899 asymptomatic.
