Luanda – Angolan health authorities this Tuesday notified 16 new cases of coronavirus, in the last 24 hours.
According to the daily bulletin, there are 15 cases diagnosed in Luanda and 1 in Zaire.
Of the new cases, whose ages vary from 6 to 71 years, 13 are male and 3 female.
In the last 24 hours, 454 blood samples were processed, with a positivity rate of 2.9 percent.
The country has a total of 98,829 confirmed cases, which resulted in 1,900 deaths, plus 96,814 recoveries and 115 active cases.
Of the active cases, there is 1 in serious condition, as well as 3 moderate cases, 6 mild and 105 asymptomatic.
In the treatment centres there are 10 in-patients, 10 are in institutional quarantine and 87 are in isolation.
