Cabinda - Two hundred children admitted to the Cabinda Provincial Hospital on Wednesday benefited from a solidarity soup, in an initiative of the Provincial Secretariat for Social Action, Family and Gender Equality.
The action is part of the activities of June, a month dedicated to children, and was witnessed by the provincial vice-governor for the Technical and Infrastructure area, Agostinho da Silva.
The hospital also benefited from medicines, expendable material, among other essential products.
Speaking to the press, the head of the Department of Social Action, António Graças, said that children need more affection for a quick recovery.
In turn, the general director of Cabinda Hospital, Pombalino de Oliveira, said that the gesture demonstrates the government's commitment to the well-being of children.
