Luanda - Brazil donated 1.5 million triple viral vaccines (Measles, Mumps and Rubella - MMR) to Angola on Thursday, in the scope of the cooperation relations between the two countries.
The donation was received by the secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Vieira Lopes, and the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.
The history of friendship and cooperation between Brazil and Angola has been unfolded through initiatives in several sectors such as defence, technical and educational cooperation, concert within multilateral organizations and in the growing bilateral trade.
The technical cooperation between the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Angola began in 1980 with the signing of the Agreement on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, on June 11 of that year.
