Menongue - The health authorities of the Okavango-East (Rundu) region, Republic of Namibia, are assisting, since this Monday, the 12 Angolan injured, seven of them serious, from the accident that occurred on Sunday, in the municipality of Calai, Cuando Cubango province.
The accident occurred 65 kilometres from the municipal capital of Calai, when a truck belonging to the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) overturned on national road 285, supposedly due to speeding.
The confirmation was made by the administrator of Calai, Tiago Lussati Nunda, having considered the acceptance of the entry of the injured as a gesture of good relations of the Namibian and Angolan authorities, despite the borders being closed due to covid-19.
