Caxito - The deputy president of MPLA, Luísa Damião, Wednesday in Caxito, Bengo province, promised to advocate with the institutions in order to help the Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Addicts to overcome the difficulties it is facing.
The partisan official, who visited the centre to check on its functioning, handed over a donation made up of various goods and showed solidarity with the inmates.
"There are many difficulties, we have to make an articulation between the Ministries of Justice and Health to, within the scope of institutional solidarity, find a compromise and minimize the difficulties of the centre", she explained.
She considered the centre an important institution, taking into account the work of rehabilitation and reinsertion of young people that it does, and stressed that MPLA is a party that is concerned with social issues.
