Caxito – The Vice-President of the republic, Esperança Costa, arrived today in the city of Caxito, north-west Bengo Province, where she will carry out a two day working visit to several social institutions.
Upon her arrival, Esperança Costa was welcomed by the provincial governor, Maria Antónia Nelumba and members of the local government.
Her program in that province includes, among other activities, a meeting with the governor and with members of the provincial government.
A meeting with women's associations, visit to the Heróis de Caxito municipal hospital of Dande, the Technical Institute of Health and the higher pedagogical school of Bengo are also scheduled.
The Special Education School Complex, the Kimamuenho Teaching School, the Polytechnic, the water treatment plant, meetings with the academic community and the planting of mangroves arealso on the Vice President's agenda.
