Lubango - The president of the main opposition party, UNITA, Adalberto Costa Júnior, defended the need for Angolan business people to conquer the international market, through a national strategy that allows the identification of markets for exporting products, based on demand on the world market.
The politician, who was speaking on Friday at a political event in an informal market in the city of Lubango, southern Huila Province, pointed out that this requires policies that ensure that products made in Angola comply with production requirements and are compatible with international customs rules.
According to the leader of UNITA, the goals of structural reform of the state, diversification of the economy, control of inflation, balance of public accounts and redistribution of income are still “far” from achieving the proposed objectives.
He suggested improvements in conditions in the health, education, agriculture and parts sectors, for the sustainable development of the country. BP/MS/TED/jmc
