Caxito – Seven new judges took office, Wednesday, at the Dande District Court, Bengo province, after being introduced to members of the Bengo Government, thus increasing to 19 the number of magistrates in the province.
At the time, the provincial governor, Maria Nelumba, hoped to see improvements in the provision of justice services in the province, calling on the new judges to carry out their duties with zeal, dedication and rigor.
In turn, the interim chairman of the Dande district court, Vânia Lima e Silva, said that the seven judges recently sworn in by the Superior Council of the Judiciary constitute an advantage for the province, taking into account the territorial dimension and volume of processes.
She said that despite this effort, the province of Bengo needs five more magistrates to reduce the pending process. PA/MRA/DOJ
