Ondjiva – The 19th military basic instruction course of the National Air Force (FAN) was completed on Sunday in the province of Cunene with the participation of 300 cadets.
The course lasted six months, three of which focused on training in the military theory and practice.
The closing ceremony took place at the Aerodrome Command of the municipality of Cahama (Cunene), under the guidance of the commander of the Southern Air Region, Lieutenant General Samuel Chipalavela, who called for greater commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty of Angolan airspace.
To the cadets, the commander asked for loyalty, firmness, courage, respect and observance of patriotic values.
He said that the process of basic military instruction of the new troops is part of a set of strategies that aims to respond to the challenges of restructuring and modernizing the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
