Luanda – Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs Téte António on Monday in Abu Dhabi attended the consultation meeting to review the mandate of the United Nations Mission for Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization in the African Central Republic (MINUSCA).
According to a press release, sent to ANGOP today, the 'briefing' took place in video conference format, from the capital of the CAR, Bangui, and was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Central African Affairs abroad in this country, Sylvie Baïpo Temon.
The event aimed to exchange views with Edmond Mulet, chief of staff of the former UN secretary general, Ban Ki Moon, and former president of the Guatemalan Congress, appointed to lead the independent strategy of the MINUSCA review.
The head of Angolan diplomacy participated in this meeting as part of the facilitation of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (CIRGL), led by Angola, for the implementation of the so-called Luanda Roadmap.
The Luanda Roadmap aims, among other aspects, to materialize actions agreed in the Angolan capital for the return of definitive peace in the CAR.
