Luanda - Angola can count on Switzerland's willingness to continue supporting its sustainable development through joint initiatives, the Switzerland ambassador to Angola, Lukas Gasser, said Tuesday in Luanda.
According to the diplomat, who was speaking at the end of a meeting with Angola’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, the two diplomats focused above all on issues related to strengthening bilateral relations.
The diplomat recalled that Angola and Switzerland have recently expressed intention to conclude bilateral legal instruments, with emphasis on the protection of investments and prevention of double taxation.
Political-diplomatic relations and cooperation between the two countries date back to the first years of Angola’s national independence in 1975.
