Luanda – MPLA leader João Lourenço Friday arrived in Huíla province to preside over a mass political rally in the province’s capital, Lubango city, on Saturday (13).
Still this Friday afternoon, João Lourenço, who stands for his re-election for the position of the President of Republic, is visiting farming trade fair of Huila, which gathers 20 farms.
The MPLA leader has toured the provinces of Cuanza Sul, Bengo, Bié, Cabinda, Cunene, Cuando Cubango, Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul, Malanje and Cuanza Norte, as part of the electoral campaign underway in the country.
In its political manifesto, MPLA pledges to carry on social, political and economic actions, what it says to ensure the country’s development and the well-being of the Angolan population.
The party also pledges its commitment to strengthening of democratic state and the rule of law, state reform and fighting against corruption and impunity.
The actions include promotion of balanced territorial development, de-centralisation and de-concentration of public administration as well as the implementation of the local authorities.
