Luanda - The President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina, said goodbye on Friday in Luanda to his Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, after a three-day official visit, to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
In Luanda, since Wednesday, Andry Rajoelina has held a private meeting with the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, spoke at the end of the official talks and witnessed the signing of seven legal instruments of cooperation.
The Malagasy statesman also participated and spoke at an Extraordinary Plenary Session, in his honor, in the National Assembly (AN), as well as held a meeting with the president of the 'House of Laws', Carolina Cerqueira.
He noted the potential of the Luanda Refinery, where he received information on the oil sector, in general, as well as on the latest refinery improvement project, which increased the production capacity of gasoline, butane gas and gray hydrogen.
On the other hand, Andry Rajoelina went to Praça da República, where, after a guided tour, he signed the Book of Honor, in honor of the first President of Angola, Agostinho Neto
Relations between Angola and Madagascar are considered to be excellent, with regular consultations at the highest level. VIC/DOJ
