Cabinda – At least 333 foreign citizens in an irregular migration situation were repatriated, in the last 7 days, by the Migration and Foreigners service (SME), in the province of Cabinda.
The Institutional communication and press Office of the Provincial Delegation of the Interior Ministry informed, in a note sent to ANGOP on Monday (August 19), that among the ones repatriated, 315 were citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and 18 from Congo Brazzaville.
According to the document, the aforementioned immigrants from these two neighboring countries were seized almost in the same neighborhoods, as part of a micro-operation called “Nzo Sama”.
They were repatriated through the Yema and Massabi border posts.
The SME and other bodies attached to the Interior Ministry in the region have intensified, in recent days, the control and inspection actions against foreigners with irregular migratory status.
