Luanda – The Secretary General of the ruling MPLA party Paulo Pombolo highlighted Tuesday in Luanda the nature of the privileged relations of friendship and cooperation between his political party and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Paulo Pombolo said the relations have allowed a strategic partnership between the two countries, with China intensifying the sending of delegations to Angola to deepening the ties, both at party and government level.
The MPLA general secretary said so on the sidelines of a seminar as part of the existing friendship and cooperation relations between the two parties, which aims to convey the essence of the decisions taken by the 20th Congress of the CCP.
During the meeting, which took place in the amphitheater of the Futungo de Belas Convention Centre, the Chinese ambassador, Gong Tao, highlighted the historical importance of relations between the two countries, which today are heading towards economic development.
Throughout the seminar, information on China's historical experience and modernisation, the CCP reform and management, as well as the summary of the last five (5) years, were transmitted.
The seminar was attended by members of the MPLA Political Bureau (BP) secretariat, Central Committee, directors of departments and offices, Executive Committee.
Also attended the event Luanda provincial committee, ruling party’s youth and women wings JMPLA and OMA as well as CCP members.
